1/4 Mile
The 1/4 mile leaderboard is regularly maintained by moderators based exclusively on Dragy racing data. You will need to provide your Dragy username when purchasing a racepass so that mods can lookup your time regularly on the Dragy app in order to rank you on the leaderboard.
The Leaderboard is reset every month so your previous months submission will not be valid for the next month.
Dyno
The Dyno leaderboard consists of the highest horsepower cars in the Happymods League participants roster. You will need to attend an official dyno day hosted by the Happymods League in order to submit a valid and recognised dyno sheet.
The Leaderboard is reset every month so your previous months submission will not be valid for the next month.
Zwartkops
The Zwartkops leaderboard is regularly maintained by moderators based exclusively on Dragy Lap racing data. You will need to provide your Dragy Lap username when purchasing a Racepass so that mods can lookup your time regularly on the Dragy Lap app in order to rank you on the leaderboard.
The Leaderboard is reset every month so your previous months submission will not be valid for the next month.
Bullseye
Bullseye is a monthly prize that runs across every board i.e. 1/4 Mile, Dyno and Zwartkops. It's our own spin on grassroots index racing built so any racer can win not just the fastest car or the biggest build.
You predict your own result and the racer whose prediction lands closest wins the months Bullseye. Because you're only ever measured against your own numbers that means a 16 second daily driver and an 11 second build compete on completely equal footing. Bullseye rewards knowing your car not having the quickest one.
How it works
- When you buy your monthly RacePass you declare your target figures for the board you're competing on. These are locked for the calendar month.
- Any time during the month log a valid session and try to hit your call. Go out as often as you like. Your best attempt is the one that counts.
- We score how accurate your prediction was. The highest accuracy that month takes the pot for that board.
What you call, by board
- 1/4 Mile: your exit time and your exit speed.
- Dyno: your peak power and your peak torque.
-
Zwartkops: your lap time.
How accuracy is scored
Each figure is scored on how close your call was to the real result:
accuracy = 100% − (how far off ÷ the real figure)
Running over or under your target counts exactly the same. It's pure distance to the number. A perfect call is 100%; a wild miss floors at 0%.
For boards where you call two figures (1/4 Mile and Dyno) we score each one and take the average of the two. That means a strong call on both beats a perfect call on one and a miss on the other. You're rewarded for predicting your whole result, not just half of it. Boards with a single figure use that one score directly.
Rules
- Your targets must be declared when you purchase your monthly pass before you log any sessions for that month. Only results recorded after your call is set will count.
- Your best session of the month is the one that counts, so there's no penalty for going out more than once. Every attempt is a fresh shot at your numbers.
- The winner each month is the racer with the highest accuracy score on that board.
- Tie-break: if two or more racers score equally, the earliest valid session of the month wins.
- You must hold an active RacePass for the month in question to be eligible.
- Standard Happymods League verification applies. Figures are taken directly from Dragy, Dragy Lap and official dyno sheets by our moderators. Fabricated, manipulated or misrepresented data is disqualified under our Integrity & Fair Competition rules, and your locked targets cannot be changed once your pass is active.
Why a prediction instead of the fastest result
The main leaderboards already reward outright speed and power. Bullseye deliberately does the opposite: it decouples the prize from how quick or powerful your car is, so newer racers, slower cars and every drivetrain class stay in the fight. Since you're always chasing your own locked numbers, calling a soft or easy target gains you nothing. The skill being rewarded is predicting and repeating your car's real performance and that's a skill anyone can build.
Hall of Fame
The Hall of Fame leaderboard consists of all of our overall winners from each leaderboard overtime. At the end of every year the most winningest member from each leaderboard gets inducted into the hall of fame and is awarded the grand prize for their leaderboard.
Integrity & Fair Competition
The Happymods League operates as an independent racing community ungoverned by any official motorsport body or union. While this gives our members the freedom to compete on their own terms, it also places the responsibility of fair play squarely on every participant.
All leaderboard submissions are based exclusively on verified Dragy and Dragy Lap data accessed directly by our moderators through the respective apps. Submitting fabricated, manipulated or misrepresented Dragy data in any form is strictly prohibited.
Participants found to have cheated or suspected of doing so may face the following consequences:
- Immediate and permanent removal from the Happymods League platform and all associated leaderboards.
- Forfeiture of any prizes won during the period in which cheating occurred.
- Civil recovery action to reclaim any prize money paid out as a result of fraudulent submissions.
- Criminal referral where the conduct amounts to fraud or an attempt to defraud the community and its members.
Because we operate outside of a formal sporting body we are not bound by certain processes or appeal structures but we are equally not limited to any. We reserve the right to act swiftly, decisively and through whatever legal channels are available to us to protect the integrity of this community.
If you suspect foul play, report it to our moderators. Every legitimate racer deserves a fair shot.
Eligibility & Supported Countries
The Happymods League is currently open to participants based in the following countries:
- South Africa
We are continuously evaluating expanding the league to additional countries across Africa and beyond. Due to the significant performance disparity between local and international builds we want to ensure every racer competes on a level playing field before opening submissions to new regions.
If your country is not listed above you are welcome to follow us and stay updated. We will announce new supported regions as they are confirmed.
Country eligibility is determined by the location from which your Dragy or Dragy Lap data is submitted. Submissions recorded outside of a supported country will not be accepted onto the leaderboard.
